A wet start to the day with the overnight rain continuing until about 8am, there was also a northerly wind that dropped as the day went on. There were quiet a few thrushes about with 50+ Blackies, 30+ Redwing, 6 Songies and 8 Fieldfares, other migrants included 2 Blackcaps, 3 Wheatears, 4 Black Redstarts and a couple of Chiffs. Offshore 6 Wigeon, 19 Red-throated Divers, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, a Gannet and a Common Tern headed north along with a Fulmar south and the male Eider and a Sandwich Tern also about.

43 birds were ringed today; 28 Blackbird, 5 Song Thrush, 3 Robin, 2 Chaffinch, 2 Blackcap and single Goldcrest, Black Redstart and Chiffchaff. The was also a Dutch controlled Blackbird and a British controlled Great Tit.
