A misty start to a humid sunny day with a slight south-east breeze at times. A few migrants were about - 10 Chiffchaff, 10 Robin, 5 Blackcap, Tree Sparrow, 6 Wheatear, 3 Whitethroat, Coal Tit, Lapland Bunting (morning only) and a Jack Snipe was flushed off the Common and into the Compound and into a net. Viz mig was slow with 108 Meadow Pipit, 8 Pied wagtail, 83 Swallow, 2 Siskin and a Snipe. Offshore southerly passage included 34 Black-headed Gulls, 2 Common Gull and 25 Wigeon.
26 Birds Ringed; 6 Chiffchaff, 6 Goldfinch, 3 Robin, 2 Wren and single Chaffinch, Whitethroat, Blackcap, Song Thrush, Coal Tit, Greenfinch, Great Tit, Sparrowhawk & Jack Snipe.
